Going
We are leaving for India tomorrow at 2:50 pm. Currently, I am franticly running around trying to pack my belongings.

To the Motherland...
I'm taking a journey with my good friend, Sameer Sampat, to India. What exactly this journey is going to entail... your guess is as good as mine. Our inner voices will be our guide. (along with our handy-dandy Lonely Planet)

i left a long comment on sam's and most of it applies to you too so i'm going to use some parts of it here.
i can't begin to express how much i'm going to miss seeing you every other month or our IM tag. I'm so glad we've stayed friends through the years and even gotten to be better friends since ucla.
make sure to represent bns during garba season. i'm sure u'll have plenty of stories to tell especially about marriage proposals, but remember to keep us updated or else ur going to forget some of the stories by the end of your trip. Be safe, keep a watch on ur bags at all times, slowly acclimitize urself to the food and water, don't be too friendly with the girls b/c even "talking" may be interpreted as romantic interest, once u take out ur camera be ready for taking millions of pictures b/c everyone in the village will want a picture, and you might want to sneak it out and take candid pictures b/c those are the only ones people actually might smile in.
other than that, have an awesome ride and i wish you all the luck in finding whatever it is you're looking for in india. hopefully you can find it here too so u'll come back :P
